Poor Gary's Pizza At-Vermilion: Reviews & Ratings
Good food, nice staff, and typical bar atmosphere. If you like pizza this is your place.
Best pizza in the world. Even the Swamper agrees and he's a world pizza connoisseur, or so he says. Drinks are always on the healthy side of fun. Place for whole family to eat and take in the game on multiple t.v.s'. Staff is friendly and cheerful.
One of the best, if not the best pizzas I've had. Don't go with high expectations though because you'll ruin it for yourself.
The sausage pizzas are great. I pick up fresh, frozen pizzas regularly. Great pizza at a price better than most stores.
I pretty much only get the house special at poor gary's. The others are good but that's my favorite. And there's the huge bamboozler Pizza and split that up into different kinds of pizzas. Also you can usually get 3 to 4 types of their pizzas Frozen for half the menu price! Thaw them out, put on a pizza stone at 525 ° and just as good as the fresh pizzas. Sometimes the Vermilion Club is so packed , and the wait times so long, that is the only option you have for something to eat. Now you wouldn't think a takeout shack would have an atmosphere but always very friendly and helpful no matter how busy they are.
Always good. Poor Gary's / VC pizza is a treat. Wing Wednesday and their blue cheese dressing is one of the best. Good beer.
Staff was amazing, friendly, competent and attentive. They easily accommodated our party of 15 with no qualms. We eat here every summer while we're at the Lake Vermillion cabin. We are NEVER disappointed with the enormous pizzas. They are some of the best we've ever had! We'll keep coming!
